Project Brief

Dale Structural Repairs were introduced to this project following successful masonry repairs and restorations on other Manchester mill projects. The works involved extensive barrel arch repairs and re-pointing, new stone window sills and brick repairs.

Solutions

Dale Structural Repairs were invited to tender for the scheme using efficient methods of installation resulting in cost savings for the client whilst still applying approved heritage lime based materials.

Outcome

The project was undertaken and supervised by our in house team of operatives where we were able to deploy multiple gangs across multiple floors to keep to a strict programme of works. All areas were documented and signed off by our client at work progressed.

Dale Structural Repairs were introduced to this project to provide a cost effective solution to a large quantity of defective ‘cast in situ’ beams that were encased in a permanent shuttering know as wood wool or strammit board. Honeycombing was present in various locations and a remedy was required for the project’s feasibility to stay on track.
